Mostly known for their spirits, the Legion does offer small pizzas, chips, popcorn, burritos and beer nuts. On major holidays, you can bet there will be a major BBQ. Good place to relax and watch sports on one of 4 big screens. There is ample outdoor seating. The ceremony for American fallen soldiers on Memorial Day should not be missed. Open 7 days a week. Popular Mexican restaurant with some outdoor seating. Dollar Taco night on every Monday is a hit with locals. Lunch specials are about the lowest in town. Lots of live entertainment on the weekends. Full Bar
Primarily known for their great lunch and dinners, the Aroma is the place where you can get fabulous fresh baked scones in the morning. Don't get there to late as they go fast. The pizzas are quite good as well. Live entertainment is an everyday event and there is considerable outdoor sitting.
Fabulous dinners on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with regular entertainment. Great Place to have your wedding or party. The outdoor setting may be the best in all of Idyllwild as its in a forested area on Strawberry Creek. The salad bar is best in town. Back in the day, this was one of the original Chart House restaurants. The tables in the dining room reflect this with old nautical maps as the permanent tablecloth. Full Bar.

Have fun eating pizza while watching sporting events. Really no outdoor seating but generally a lot of activity indoors. Located next door to the US Post Office.
Located in the exact center of town, Jo'An's Restaurant is under new management as of July 2010. There is extensive outdoor seating which is popular with the weekend motorcycle enthusiasts. There is almost always live music during the warmer months on the Saturday and Sunday. There are some high definition screens for sporting events. Full Bar.
Great for Sushi and Korean BBQ. Open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week and dinner on Friday and Saturday. There is limited outdoor seating but the parking situation is quite good. Beer and Wine is served with a purchased meal.

If you are looking for a fine dining experience, this place is a great place to start. The chef studied for 4 years as a Cordon Bleu in France. Its hard to imagine that such a place exists in Idyllwild. The outdoor sitting is peculiar but that should not be an issue. There is a bar and the wine list is extensive. Monday night is dedicated to locals with special pricing.
Very fine lunch and dinner with exceptional ambience. Indoorand outdoor seating. Cafe pizza is to die for. They have an extensive menu thats online at gastrognome.com. For desert, make sure to try the creme brulee, one of the greatest desserts known to man. This is Idyllwild's oldest eating establishment and easily one of its best, through and through. Full Bar.
This is a fairly large market near the center of town. They have a large bakery and can make just about anything. Custom birthday cakes are a real treat. There is limited outdoor seating. There is a big screen in a large capacity area for viewing sporting events.
