Rocky Zharp |
Rocky Zharp, born in Indiana, was given his first musical instrument, a harmonica, by his
great grandmother when he was but 5 years old. By age 17 he was working with the
elderly Rev. Ervin Davis playing blues on the harmonica at picnics and on street corners
for tips. In 1982, after moving to California, Rocky began playing harmonica with the Bodie Mountain Express. They worked at the L.A. County Fairs in 1984 and did some recording Edge Records. Rocky has since recorded on Taboo and ESB labels, plus many songs on his own 'Kind Hudd' label. Rockyıs most recent recording features the song I'm Dead, which has established Rocky as an affiliated songwriter with BMI. |
