Well it was another typical turnout for the Harry's show...packed and standing room only. It had snowed the night before in our small town and the temperature was about 35 degrees at showtime, but that did not deter anyone from finding room number 23 at Idyllwild Elementary School. Harry's show had originally been scheduled for the school's main auditorium, but that was scrapped the day before and was moved to a new home...room 23...teachers desk, chalkboard, textbooks, and all moved out of the way for a grand piano, stand-up bass, and a drum set.

The show began at 2:05 pm on this chilly Sunday afternoon with Harry warming up the polite but anxious jazz crazed audience by discussing the theme for the show...love songs....or shall we say...love songs in the key of JAZZ. Harry loves to talk and educate his audience at every chance he can...so you will hear him speak often. During the performance, you will hear speaking .....actually....humming to the audience. Don't be alarmed...its just Harry humming away merrily while playing piano.

Rounding out the trio were bass player Marshall Hawkins and Harold Mason, both keeping a perfect beat.

The performance ended at about 4:00 pm and it was clear that nobody wanted to leave.
